About us
62W was created to solve a simple problem: Portugal has thousands of good, profitable companies whose owners are ready for a new chapter, and few buyers who want to keep them alive and growing.
01 — Our story
Many of Portugal’s best companies were built over decades by their founders. Clients trust them. Teams have grown up inside them. But when the owner starts thinking about retirement or a new venture, the options are often poor: a competitor that makes the brand disappear, a fund that cuts costs, or simply no buyer at all.
We created 62W to offer a different path. We acquire established companies, keep their identity and their people, and invest in what they need for the next generation.
02
We invest behind two convictions.
Professional and business services are essential, recurring and trusted by their clients. But much of the daily work is still manual. By redesigning processes and using technology and artificial intelligence, we free teams from repetitive work so they can give clients more advice and better service. We bring several companies together around a shared back office, so each one can offer more than it could alone.
Sectors: accounting and tax advisory · insurance brokerage · compliance and safety services · property and condominium management
Companies that make physical products are hard to replace. Their know-how lives in their people, their machines and their customer relationships. And demand is broadening: automation is opening new ways to produce, and new types of customers and new markets are emerging. We back these companies with long-term capital, investment in equipment and automation, and help in winning new customers.
Sectors: metal manufacturing · industrial machinery and equipment · food processing and manufacturing
03
We start with a strong company in each sector and build around it. Smaller companies can then join the group and benefit from shared resources, technology and a wider client base, while keeping their local identity.

05 — Technology as a lever
Our team has designed and scaled technology products in companies of every size, from startups to large international groups. We have hands-on experience in artificial intelligence and see it as a real opportunity to modernise companies that still work the way they did twenty years ago: fewer repetitive tasks, simpler processes and more time for clients.
In each company, we start by understanding where technology really makes a difference. Only then do we invest.
In accounting, we created Conta Labs, which builds software agents that collect documents, read them, reconcile transactions and keep clients informed. The first agents are already live.
